Palm Sunday Service

Truth in the Streets | Church Online

On Palm Sunday, Jesus entered Jerusalem riding a donkey—humble, yet victorious. Crowds shouted “Hosanna!” and waved palm branches, celebrating a King who had come to save. But what they didn’t realize was that salvation would come not through military power, but through sacrifice. This moment marks the beginning of Holy Week. The cheers of the crowd would soon turn to jeers. The One they welcomed would be the One they crucified. Yet Jesus knew this—and He came anyway.

Palm Sunday reminds us that Jesus doesn’t run from the pain of the cross—He walks straight toward it, for love of us.

As we journey through this sacred week, may we walk with Him. May we not only celebrate the triumph, but also reflect on the cost. Because before there was resurrection, there was a cross.

“Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!” — Matthew 21:9
