What's On the Inside

Every day, we choose what clothing we will wear. We dress in a uniform, a business suit, or something that portrays a part of our identity. It protects us, covers us, and can be used to showcase a style to the world.

However, often, we prioritize these outward expressions and labels over what's on the inside. We care more about what's covering the outside of us than the shape of our hearts.
God's word tells us we need to clothe ourselves with Christ and His righteousness, Godly character, Spiritual armor, and strength. We also need to clothe ourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience, and over all these virtues, put on love.

Today, may people not only see how we are dressed on the outside, but what's on the inside. May we clothe ourselves with His presence - inside and out.
