Jesus Meets Us Where We Are
Did you know that the woman at the well is the only person to whom Jesus directly revealed that He is the Messiah? He was compelled to meet her— showing kindness, speaking truth, and revealing the heart of the Father. This one encounter speaks volumes about who Jesus is and, in turn, who God is. He broke cultural norms, sought out the broken and the lost, and came to do a new thing-inviting us to worship in Spirit and in Truth.
If you don't feel seen today, you are. Jesus will meet you when you least expect it—in your isolation, in the heat of the day, in the midst of sin and struggle- and offer you hope, purpose, and a new life.
