Burdens
“Come to Me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you, and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy, and My burden is light.” — Matthew 11:28–30
All of us have a burden today, something that is going on in our lives. A struggle, a hardship, a season that may seem really tough, a weight that we are carrying or pushing uphill. In this verse, Jesus sees us. He invites us to come to Him with whatever we’re carrying, and He tells us that HE will give us rest.
