Agendas

We all have agendas. And while some of us still use paper, our phones now remind us of our day-to-day schedules, filled with appointments and errands and things we like to do. We also have plans that extend out over the year: trips we want to take, family to see, work events, and dreams we make when we have time to think about the future. I've learned, though, that it is one thing to make an agenda and another to have it rule over our life. We need to be able to hold on loosely enough to allow God to do a work in us and through us. We need to have the flexibility and surrender that if life changes course, we can trust God and his plans. Today, allow God access to all areas of your life - especially our agendas.
