Little Foxes
What is King Solomon saying in this verse? What are the “little foxes?” The little foxes are the sins. Seemingly small, yet destructive. Like jealousy, anger and bitterness, lies and deceit, complacency and lack of effort. The vineyard represents love, intimacy, and a growing relationship. These little foxes come quietly and destroy homes and churches, individuals, and nations.
Our heart is our garden. We need to keep it safe. We need to protect it. We need to put up those boundaries to keep out those little foxes from destroying the fruit. What sin is destroying your garden today?
