We Are Not Alone
I think all of us, at one point in our life, have felt this kind of pain - like our heart has been ripped from our chest. Maybe it was the death of a parent, the loss of a child, the betrayal of a spouse, or the death of a dream, and we drop to our knees because we have nothing left in us to stand. In this moment, we may feel alone, unseen, and that no one understands. But I want to remind you today that we are NOT alone. In this moment, Jesus is running toward us, standing with us, and sometimes carrying us. He walked this earth and knows the bitterness of loss and rejection. He understands betrayal and what it's like to endure a cross.
If this is you today, lift your eyes and hold out your hands. Jesus is running to you. He's almost there. Let Him pick you up and carry you. He loves you that much!
