It's a Battle

The mind is where the battle takes place. The enemy tries at every turn to make us believe the lie: that nobody loves us, we're unimportant, and that the mistakes we've made can never be forgiven. But they are ALL lies. God's Word tells us that we ARE loved, that He has great plans for us, and that when we believe in Jesus and ask for His forgiveness, our sins are forgiven and our transgressions are removed as far as the east is from the west.
So how do we win the battle? We take captive every thought. We replace the lies with God's truth, and we remember that we don't battle against flesh and blood, but against the powers of this dark world and the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. It's time to stand firm, pick up the sword of the Spirit, and tell the devil to shut up! It may be a battle, but Jesus has won the war, and we are victorious!
