Giants
Do you have something in your life that feels like you will never overcome it, something too big to conquer on your own? Maybe it’s a recent diagnosis, or a struggle in your marriage, or a financial burden that grows by the day. David once faced something that others feared, that no one dared stand against, something too big to conquer on his own. But while others feared this giant, David stood firm because he knew the Lord was fighting for him. “All those gathered here will know that it is not by sword or spear that the Lord saves; for the battle is the Lord’s, and he will give all of you into our hands.” 1 Samuel 17:47
What would it look like to trust the Lord with your giant? To believe that whatever you are facing right now, God is bigger, for this battle is the Lord’s. Trust in Him.
