A Prayer for Today
Father God,
I thank you for this moment, when the world is far away and in the stillness of Your presence, I can only hear Your voice. I will not be anxious about anything, because your peace surpasses all understanding. I know that You go before me, and that You will not forsake me or leave me. Even though I pass through the deep waters, You will be with me. And even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, You are with me. Today, I will grab onto Your peace. I will not let my heart be troubled. And I won't be afraid.
