Crucified with Christ
What does it mean to be crucified with Christ? It means putting to death our independent ideas, self-will, pride, and the things that our flesh wants to do. Galatians 2:20 says, "I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me." Our struggle is when we try to live for Jesus…and ourselves.
Father God,
Please help me to die to self and live for Jesus. Let my daily walk with You empty me of the things that are of me, and fill me with You. Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight.
In Jesus Name,
Amen
