Forgiveness
Three words can diffuse a situation and set you free, depending on your role: "I forgive you" and "I am sorry." Forgiving others can be a difficult thing.
But Jesus said in Matthew 6:14-15, "If you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins."
While forgiving someone can be challenging, it can be just as hard humbling ourselves before someone, saying "I am sorry," and admitting we were wrong.
Repentance and forgiveness are the keys to true freedom. Today, ask Jesus to help you work on asking for forgiveness, forgiving others, and accepting the sweet forgiveness Jesus offers you.
